Well I gave my first listen to Life Is Good last night and it surpassed my expectations by a long shot. Why? Well Ill explain, when I put on an album for the first time, and I manage to not skip one track, I declare it a classic, every bonus track on this album is a banger, Trust is on repeat, Nasty has been on repeat since first dropping last year, and now Roses. Whats great about this album (I feel) is not only his lyrical structure incorporating lifes trials to triumph involved with his most recent divorce with Kelis but he also demonstrates the power of leadership he has obtained behind tracks like The Don, Summer On Smash, and Loco-Motive all summer 2012 anthems. Bottom line I can list more then 10 tracks on this album that can be played simultaneously without annoyance. I know on the 17th Im going to buy 2 copies..one for my car and one for at home...yes its that good! I also really hope Nas picks up his first ever Grammy Award for this instant classic "Life Is Good".
